Energy and Transportation Infrastructure

EERA works to develop the technologies necessary to enable a choice of affordable vehicle technologies (light and heavy duty onroad, locomotive and rail, vessel and waterborne) matched with the needed fueling infrastructure.  This includes better ways to develop the infrastructure we have, and ways to innovate transitions to better performing energy infrastructure that leverage local energy resources while reducing the dependence on imported oil.

Sample Project
Biofuels Pathways for the State of New York
The purpose of this project was to conduct total fuel cycle assessments and transportation and logistics analysis to support the NYSERDA Sustainable Biofuels Roadmap Project.  The work involved applying NY-GREET to future scenarios in New York. EERA was responsible for 100% of the fuel cycle analysis and energy transportation and distribution analyses.
